BROAD BASE FOR WEEKEND SCHOOL AGENDA
Over 200 delegates converged on the University of Exeter at the start of April for the 49th Annual Weekend School for local government lawyers.
Organised by SLG in association with the Local Government Legal Society Trust Fund, the four-day event reflected the changing face of legal services in public service delivery with key sessions covering standards, Freedom of Information and health and safety.
The local authority law annual review was given by Richard Clayton QC of 39 Essex Street who was among the 50 speakers from local government, private practice, chambers, education and training.
Next year’s event will be held at the University of Warwick from March 26 to 29.
