PLANNING LAW EXPLAINED, DISCUSSED, ANALYSED AND DEBATED AT FLAGSHIP LGG CONFERENCE
One of the most popular dates in the LGG calendar, the annual Planning Law Conference provides both a comprehensive legal update and a valuable networking opportunity.
Now in its 14th year – and staged this year on December 3 at the Royal College of Surgeons in London – the event is once again held in partnership with Landmark Chambers.
Christopher Lockhart-Mummery QC will be chairman for a day that features a detailed case law update covering areas ranging from environmental impact assessments to this year’s Model Code of Conduct. There will be sessions on issues relating to special protection areas and conducting planning appeals, an update on planning obligations, a look at local development frameworks, and at the issues arising from both the Planning White Paper and Housing Green Paper.
Other speakers include Christopher Katkowski QC, Stephen Morgan and Christopher Boyle, all from Landmark; Bob McGeady of Kester Cunningham John, and Mike Rowan from Kennet District Council. A panel Q&A will also feature as part of a day described by one delegate last year as containing “excellent, clear presentations by leading experts in this field of law”.
