Mediation Conference

In association with Bevans Solicitors

Lord Woolf's 1996 report, ‘Access to Justice’, is generally noted as being the catalyst for large scale reform of the civil justice system.  Since then alternative dispute resolution, and in particular mediation, has assumed great importance within public sector disputes. This is only set to grow with the government's recent promotion of mediation within workplace disputes and the changes to the complaints procedure in Standards Board matters. This conference is a must for local government lawyers, HR officers and managers who will learn about mediation, it's benefits, when to use it effectively and the types of dispute to use it in.
