Equality Act 2010 Conference

Experts from Field Court Chambers and the group Director of the Legal Equality and Human Rights Commission are brought together to discuss key features of the Equality Act 2010 which came into force on 1st October.

"This is a landmark piece of legislation and it is essential that local authorities and public bodies understand their duties under the new Act and the practical effect of the changes" says John Crosfill, barrister at Field Court Chambers who specialises in employment law, public law and human rights.
 
This one-day conference is ideal for employment lawyers and those who advise on employment law, HR personnel and diversity managers. Through panel discussions and case study session, delegates will have the opportunity to examine the implications of the Act and the differences or possible differences from the previous legislative position.
