This day will presume nil or basic knowledge
This day will:
- Give a comprehensive overview of the whole system of planning law
- Show how law and policy work together in that system
- Identify the main problem areas for practitioners
- Look at some of the ways those problems have been overcome
- Identify any problems which are still outstanding
- Review the main changes introduced by the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004
It will be of interest to:
- Public sector lawyers with little or no knowledge of the planning system who feel that they ought to know more
- Any land lawyer or conveyancer who wants to move into planning law as a specialism
