Planning Solicitors, Planning Committee Members, Planning Officers and Enforcement Officers with at least a basic experience in section 106 agreements
- Where does the law go now? Community Infrastructure Levy. The changes to be introduced by regulations under the Planning Act 2008. Latest developments.
- The future. What does the government plan to do? What will the developer have to pay under CIL and what will happen to the remaining parts of section 106.?
- Section 106 situations at district, county and unitary councils. Advice to councillors. Prospects on appeal if agreement cannot be reached.
- The processing of section 106 cases. Delegates will be asked to deal with common section 106 situations such as might occur at district, county and unitary planning authorities.
- Delegates will be asked to draft appropriately when given particular situations and to comment. There will be case studies where those who wish will be able to discuss.
