Who are LGG?
With around 20 years' experience delivering industry- defining training to the public sector legal professional, LGG draws on a pool of talent, sector knowledge and legal expertise to shape a comprehensive programme.
LGG is the limited company trading arm of SLG (Solicitors in Local Government) and is affiliated to ACSeS (Association of Council Secretaries and Solicitors).
Our board members are all from a local authority or public sector background, giving them a unique understanding of the issues and pressures facing the sector through changing legislation, budgetary restraints and continually evolving pressures on personnel.
The LGG programme is delivered following close and constant consultation with our impressive portfolio of speakers; it is always geared towards high quality, high value, and delegates can also see "at a glance" how attendance at a particular event will benefit their continuing professional development (CPD hours).
BEV CULLEN – Chair of SLG
Bev is the current Chair of SLG and currently works at Lancashire County Council.
Philip McCourt – President of ACSeS
Assistant Director of Law & Governance, Milton Keynes Council.

Speaking for LGG
LGG events attract some of the finest speakers from the legal world - barristers, solicitors, senior figures in local and central government, opinion formers and sector specialists.
Together they help us create and deliver an annual programme of conferences and seminars designed to provide the public sector legal professional with the most up-to-date and informed comment and debate on a wide range of topics. In addition, these events give speakers a forum to share their views and ideas and also provide significant networking and new business opportunities.
